Save Indian Family Foundation in association with their associates, Peoples Urge for Rights and Equity (PURE) and Childrens Rights Initiative for Shared Parenting (CRISP), announce to observe and celebrate “NATIONAL FAMILY HARMONY DAY” on 12th November 2009 with support from more than 50 NGOs working for the cause, all around the Nation. A women’s meet has been arranged at Bangalore to Mark this occasion. Around more than 200 women are expected to participate in the said meet from all classes of society. The Director Karnataka institute of Law and Parliamentary Reform ,Bangalore Police Commissioner Sri. Shankara Bidari IPS, Mrs. Tejaswini Ananthakumar, Mrs. Manjula Ravisubramanyam, B.J.P State Mahila Morcha General Secretary Mrs. Sarojini Bharadvaj, Hon’ble Judges from Family court, Human Rights and Lokayukta Officials, Canara Bank Srinagar Branch Manager Sri. Nagabhushna K are expected to participate. It is been considered that, marriage is a crime in India since from few years. Because many people are getting arrested for being named in a complaint against them by any woman or her relatives whose marriage has happened within 7 years, under sec. 498a of IPC. If a person deny to become an ATM for his wife, if she wants to desert him from his family, if he oppose her illegal relations, just to make unjustifiable grabbing of a person’s property legally, to take revenges, any foolish woman may use this section and D.P. Act as a weapon and destroy the whole family of a man and compel him to pay some 100 or 200 Rs. to get a woman to his bed instead of marriage. Thousands of people like these are committing suicides every year or else compelled to become a criminal by in justifying law machinery unnecessarily arresting more than 60% of whole arrests without proper reason, circumstantial evidences, proofs and need to arrest by which they may lose their jobs and their future everything and have to face uncertainty. Here are few statistics of NCRB for your reference:
A report of central social studies, a Government Institute says that, only 2% of dowry harassment prevention cases are getting conviction. Which means 98% innocent people are been arrested unnecessarily without proper justification for arresting. It has to be mentioned that, if it is not a special case under 113a of evidence act that, “Accused has to prove his innocence rather prosecution has to prove the case, in all other including a brutal red handed murder” even 2% innocent would have been acquitted. The system is enforcing some laws of prejudices with some presumptions and assumptions that every married man is maniac of harassing wives and they need to be treated like a culprit until they prove their innocence. This study and our Hon’ble President of this nation have proved and accepted the above issues. They have divided undivided families in the name of individual’s (personal) independence and perpetrated Human Rights. Hence they are interested in dividing families for their profits and vested interests. To achieve their goal they are promoting many dividing laws on voiceless and mindless Indian society. Our aim is not to protect the criminals but to save those innocent people killing themselves everyday in fear of defamation and non-availability of justice from this wicked and dramatic judicial system. To teach a good lesson to those who are grabbing innocent people’s property and money for their enjoyment, to stop those demons from spoiling nation by registering false complaints, misusing and putting burden on judicial system of this poor country. To give real Independence and peace to every citizen of this country even though we are not being considered for those things here in this country. Mr. Shivashankara is a loyal honorary social worker of our Organizations and has departed FREE counseling for more than 3,000 Families in distress; his one-man army itself has actively and physically participated in solving more than 600 Family problems. He has kept his ears open throughout 24 hours every day to listen to problems of people in distress and have given suggestions to their individual problems. He has contributed a lot in avoiding many suicides and building Harmony in many Families in distress. Shivashankar lost his beloved wife in January 2007 and became a victim of False Dowry harassment case; he had to be in judicial custody for 126 days. Meanwhile he lost his orphaned children at 11 month and 3 ½ years, home, his business, money, dignity, relatives and became a real walking dead-body, he learnt the seriousness of such false allegations and decided to fight to bring judicial reforms not for his case, but for all those innocent accused and families. He is participating actively in all our activities and also Kannada language development, Cow Slaughter Ban, Religious, Social, Political, Ecological, Right to information awareness and such other activities continuously. He has worked to restore more than 200 crore worth Government property from illegal encroachers. Besides all above he has written a lot of Articles about the Family issues that have given rise to many media Publications in Karnataka.
