Bangalore: Save Indian Family Foundation, an association of harassed husbands and Child Rights Initiative for Shared Parenting, paid a candlelight tribute to one of their members, who committed suicide recently, near the Mahatma Gandhi statue, in Bengaluru on Thursday.

Syed Maqdoom, 38, a senior executive in an HR company, had left a suicide note and a video clipping in his mobile phone, alleging separation from his child and harassment from his second wife, Muskaan Sehr and his in-laws B.K. Abdul Lateef and Suraiyya Begum.

Syed’s decomposed body was found on April 9.
