UNICEF India chief accused of rape bid
New Delhi, March 30
The UNICEF India head was today accused of sexual harassment and attempted rape by a former employee of the same organisation. Additional commissioner of police (crime against women cell) Tajender Luthra said, “We have received a complaint and are examining it. In her complaint, 44-year-old Archana Pandey accused Cecilio Adorna of attempted rape. — UNI
An Indian woman will not accuse anyone without any reason. The allegations are extremely serious. It has been a matter of grave concern that the plight and trauma of the victim is not taken into account. Indian police is notorious in not taking action when the rich, famous and influetial are accused of any crime. |
