All Laws are Misused in India At last, we are thankful to Liberal extremists in Media for publicly acknowledging “All laws are misused in India.” Editorial in Times of India writes,”Some may argue that the empowering clauses are likely to be misused by avaricious elements, but that is true of all laws.” This is the editorial regarding Domestic Violence Bill, which says it is not unnatural that some avaricious elements misuse it. So thick skinnned we are that we gracefully accept that there is misuse of all laws and the state jails innocent people. Now, the question is, “Is not it a criminal offence to misuse a law ?”If all laws in India are misused at one time or other, then why the government is not ready to pass a law in parliament against “Misuse of Laws” ? Why does not it punish or even put a fine against a person who misuses the law and falsely accuses an innocent person making him run around courts for years? Where are the perjury laws ? Misuse of Laws to torture innocent people (especially old and sick elders) is the biggest human rights violation imaginable. Why does Media takes it so casually saying “well, all laws can be misused” ? BTW, what human rights guys/gals have to say about it ? Can laws be just open-ended ? You complain against a person XYZ and the state sends police to pick XYZ up and put in central jail without verifying if the complaint is true or false. Then, what is the difference between India and Fascist Nazi Germany ? Firstly, there is misuse of laws. Then, there is massive corruption in Judiciary. The public prosecutors, bench clerks keep looking at your pockets. The police starts harassing to extract as much as possible. If you are a techie and got into it, the extortion can go upto 1 lac and if you are an NRI then it can go up to 2 lacs to 4 lacs. What should an innocent man, woman, old and sick elder do when the state terrorises them by allowing so called “avaricious elements” to misuse laws against them? Many pseudo-liberals will jump in to say “why does not the innocents file a lawsuit against the “avaricious elements ?” The person runs for 5 years to get out of a false case and will s/he have the strength to run for another 5 years trying to bring “avaricious elements” to book ? Finally, why media does not explain who these avaricious elements are. Is it trying to be Gender Sensitive by not using the terms “wives, adulterous daughters-in-law, their greedy parents and brothers?” |
