Jaipur. Acknowledging, giving dowry as prima facie crime, a city court has issued summon to a parents. In a case serial no (11), Judicial Magistrate has issued bailable warrant to parents and daughter and ordered them to appear in court. Gandhi road resident of Vaishali Nagar Ikball Rai Jain had filed petition against her daughter-in-law Komal Jain, her father Balram Sahay and mother Asha Devi.

Petitioner lawyer Ashvini Bohra said that in spite of his client refusal to accept dowry in any form, his client daughter-in-law parents given articles of dowry. Later they started saying that whatever articles they had given was dowry owing to his son-in-law being a doctor.And only seven days after the marriage, girl's parents started building pressure on his client to declare his house in the name of their daughter. The petition filed in the court states that as per the sections 3 and 4 of anti-dowry act, their act comes in the category of a crime, and the court should order for filing of a case against them.
