Why teenage girl killed her father
Fifteen year old daughter murdered her father, because he was against her illicit relationship with her boyfriend. Hurt curdling news from Benguluru shattered Indian media. Girl is a minor so, she will not be punished. On 19 August, 2019, when asked by Police, she confessed the crime and said that she wanted her freedom back. She would give any excuses that she was beaten by her father. She told she was beaten by father when he came to know about their regular visits to shopping mall and telephone conversations. Her father reduced her usage of social media.
In above incident, a person named Jay Kumar Jain is murdered by his 15 year old daughter. She was student in 10th class and having illicit relationship with 19 year old a teenage boy Praveen. Praveen was studying in commerce. They were friends from last 3 years, when she was in 7th class and Praveen was in 10th class. The man hailed from Rajasthan and runs apparel shop in Rajaji nagar. On that day, he returned back to home after dropping his son and wife to railway station. His daughter added allegedly added sleeping pills calmpose tablets in milk. When father went asleep, daughter slapped his father few times to check effect of sleeping pills. Later she and her boyfriend stabbed him to death and burnt body inside bathroom. During interrogation, both told Police commissioner Dhananjay Kumar that plan of murder was cooked when both went to shopping mall a week before.
Millennials are living in digital world. Their lives are much more different that we in our childhood. We were inculcated moral values of honesty, truthfulness, god-fearing. They are able to get everything at their fingertips. Their studies are done on laptops or mobiles. Physical presence of teacher has become nominal. They are most vulnerable to become victim of drugs, porns, alcohols, smoking. In this age, they couldn’t realize what is right and what is wrong. Through films, they are accustomed to violence. Children don’t have any fear about violence. If anyone else including parent try to interrupt, they refuse to listen.
Nurturing of children has become a challenge, the whole system is consumer oriented and built to sell, indulge. One could watch anything over web. One could order food wherever you wish. One could travel anywhere with ola, uber. One could book for movie, entertainment show on mobile. What else does any teenage want? At young age, teenage couldn’t control such baits of addiction.
Above example is evidence of insensitivity towards such extreme violence. Children do not respect their parents. We can see children disrespecting their parents. Children make fun of their parents while talking amongst each other. After they lose respect for parents, they can do anything to fulfill their needs.
Laws have made in order to favors females. When a teenage couple enjoy and indulge together with consent. A girl can file rape case against boy for any argument happens between them. Such rape case has become a tool of extortion in India. Fake rape charge amounts to jail for male victim.
Television has been liberal to show violence, romance. Teenage come across violence and pornography at earlier age. Once they could go through such system. They turn insensitive to any kind of violence. They don’t mind killing, beating anybody. Television series such as Game of throne, fifty shades of gray have become curse for lives of youngsters.
Youth which was supposed to be future power and build nation, has trapped in indulgence, addiction. News didn’t publish photo of girl, but faces of father and boyfriend were shown in news.
